Coronavirus information

Please visit https://www.nhsinform.scot/coronavirus for the latest information on the Coronavirus COVID-19.

To ensure patient safety during the Coronavirus outbreak, the way we normally offer appointments is temporarily changing.

We are offering pre-booked appointments only and are closed to walk-ins. Please phone the Practice on 01463 713 939 (lines open from 8am) and we will arrange for a GP to call you back at a scheduled time. If appropriate, a face to face appointment can then be arranged by the GP.

The most common coronavirus symptoms are as follows:

  • a high temperature
  • a new continuous cough
  • a loss of, or change in sense of smell and taste

If you’ve developed symptoms (however mild), stay at home for 10 days from the start of your symptoms and arrange to be tested. Do not go to your GP, pharmacy or hospital.

You should remain at home until you get the result of the test, and then follow the advice you will be given based on the result.

If you think you have coronavirus and would like to assess your symptoms, phone 0800 22 44 88. You will be asked to answer questions through an automated service. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you are over the age of 5 and have the above symptoms you may now be eligible for testing. Please go to https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or phone 0300 303 2713.
